Lisa Barge

Lisa helps her clients navigate complex disputes to reach the best possible outcome, whether that be using litigation, ADR or strategic correspondence.

She is Head of our Commercial Dispute Resolution Team.

Consisting of over 30 partners and 100 fee-earners, the team is the largest group of specialist commercial litigators in Europe. It is a team which comprises Commercial Dispute Resolution both through the Courts and via Arbitration, International Arbitrations, Cross-border Litigation, Competition Litigation, Group Action, Health and Safety and Environmental disputes and Corporate Claims.

Acting in some of the largest disputes across the UK as well as cases with global reach, Lisa’s team represents some of the largest companies in the world.

Lisa’s own area of focus is Real Estate Litigation. Having led the group for 5 years Lisa advises on a full range of property-related disputes and has significant experience in dilapidation and rent review disputes and regularly acting on multi-million pound claims. Lisa is one of the few solicitor members of Arbrix and regularly acts as a legal assessor on rent review disputes.

She is also an experienced solicitor-advocate and undertakes most of her own advocacy.
