Career
Kyung Tae Kim is a partner at Lee & Ko. His practice is primarily focused on tax litigation, tax consulting and civil litigation involving accounting and tax issues. Since joining Lee & Ko in 2002, He has handled some of the most significant tax appeals, tax litigation and tax advisory projects, providing effective representations to satisfaction of his clients. He has also been an active participant in various organizations outside of the firm, having served as an important member of the tax-related committees of the National Tax Service, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and various local governments and academic organizations. Prior to joining Lee & Ko in 2002, he was a Judge in the Daejeon District Court for three years presiding over Tax, Civil, Criminal and Corporate cases. Prior to being appointed as a judge, he was a Korean Certified Public Accountant (license obtained in 1992) at KPMG San Dong Accounting Firm where he provided tax advisory service for various clients.
