Career
Hyung Sub Lim is the head of Lee&Ko North Korea Practice Group at Lee & Ko. His practice focuses on the North Korea matters, sanctions and Inter-Korea Economic Cooperation. Currently, Mr. Lim works as an consultant for the Kaesong Industrial Complex Legal Consulting Committee and Special Committee on Unification Law of the Ministry of Unification, Special Committee for South and North Korea Law Studies of the Ministry of Justice, and the Seoul Bar Association’s Unification Legislative Affairs Special Committee, as well as the Chairperson of Committee for Studies in Inter Korea Relation Legislative Affairs under of Korean Bar Association’s Unification Studies Committee. Mr. Lim also handles various corporate matters such as complex business litigation, with emphasis on the following areas: representation of PF and other investment funds in litigations and arbitrations arising from corporate financing and securities transactions, real estate, construction, security regulations, banking, insurance and corporate governance.
