Represents leading employers and government contractors in matters of financial, reputational and operational significance in a wide variety of industries including utilities, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, hospitals and healthcare, automotive, semiconductor, paper/cellulose/furniture manufacturers, insurance, banking, retail, hospitality, food/beverage distribution, and law firms. Has extensive experience assisting companies based outside the U.S. and North Carolina with establishing workforces in the U.S. and compliance with U.S. and state law and maintaining a union-free workplace; conducting internal harassment and employee misconduct investigations; representing employers in federal and state compliance audits and investigations involving class or systemic allegations; and defending employers in state and federal civil actions, including multiplaintiff and class actions.
