John Therien

John Therien advises a broad range of clients nationally and internationally in complex business transactions involving biotechnology and intellectual property, including patent and technology licensing, research and development collaborations, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, supply chain, distribution, co-development and co-commercialization arrangements, and other strategic commercial transactions. He has extensive experience advising companies in the agricultural and food technology and pharmaceutical industries, including numerous clients who develop, utilize and license genome editing technologies for diverse applications such as human cell therapies and gene therapies and genome-edited traits in major row crops and specialty crops.
