Kenneth S. Blazejewski is a Partner in Cleary Gottlieb’s Global Funds Practice and the Leader of Cleary Gottlieb’s Sponsor Solutions Group.
Ken’s practice focuses on organizing and advising private investment funds and advising on private equity secondary investors and sponsors on the full range of GP-led secondaries and continuation fund transactions, including portfolio transactions, single asset transactions, and strip sales. In addition, Ken has extensive experience in strategic transactions, including GP seeding and GP staking transactions and other joint ventures. His representative clients in the secondaries space include Ares Secondaries, Coller Capital, Kline Hill, and Sequoia Capital.
Ken’s practice also focuses on advising sponsors on the formation and operation of private funds, including for clients such as KKR, Pinegrove, and Sixth Street.
Career
Ken joined Cleary Gottlieb in 2007 and became counsel in 2017 and a partner in 2021. From 2011 to 2013, he was resident in the London office. From 2001 to 2003, Ken worked as a program associate at the Inter-American Dialogue in Washington, D.C. From 1999 to 2000, he was a Fulbright Scholar in the Dominican Republic.
