Juneyoung Jang

Mr. Joe Juneyoung Jang is a partner at ICT Group and the head of the AI Center of Shin & Kim. Mr. Jang provides discriminatory and comprehensive advice based on his extensive practical experience in ICT and AI in the field of wired and wireless networks such as telecommunications facilities and frequencies, personal information and data, and AI governance and media.

Mr. Jang directly played an important role in the overall ICT fields, including frequencies, broadcasting, and telecommunications, at the Ministry of Science & ICT and the Korea Communications Commission for six years, and then successfully performed consulting and litigation works in various ICT fields at Shin & Kim. Before joining Shin & Kim, Mr. Jang served as the Chief Privacy Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) of Coupang Corp for about two years, and has been recognized as a top expert in the ICT field.

In addition, as a member of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Committee, he is recognized as an expert in the field of ICT regulation design based on his various contributions to ICT regulatory innovation, and has professional and unrivaled experience in the nation's leading e-commerce company. Based on these, Mr. Jang has an excellent insight into ICT risk management, including compliance work for all ICT services and AI solutions.
