Mr. Yun Seok Jang is a senior partner at Shin & Kim. Mr. Jang practices mainly in financial legal advisory, collective investment schemes including PEFs, acquisition finance, and ship finance.

Mr. Jang leads the corporate finance team of Shin & Kim, which has been traditionally strong in securities and finance and is an accomplished securities finance practitioner who has led the firm to a leading position in the field of acquisition finance. Mr. Jang recently advised TaylorMade, Job Korea, SK Lubricants, and CJ OliveYoung on major acquisition deals in the market and previously led the Homeplus transaction, which was the largest and most lender-financed transaction in Korean history, as well as numerous other acquisition finance deals for domestic and international clients in various industries, including Momentive, Schwan’s, DN Solutions, Linde Korea, DIG Airgas, Lotte Card, AJ Capital, MG Non-life Insurance, Twosome Place, and Burger King. He is also a market leader in domestic and international alternative investments and corporate finance transactions.

Mr. Jang has been annually recognized as a “Leading Lawyer” in Capital Markets by IFLR1000, the world’s preeminent legal publication and has also been recognized as a “Leading Lawyer” in Securities and Finance by the Legal Times (2017, 2019, 2021-2024).
