Julie’s trial practice focuses on the energy and life science sectors, for which she leads a broad spectrum of high-stakes disputes before both courts and arbitration tribunals. Julie has tried multiple cases with claims in excess of $100 million. With nearly 25 years of trial and arbitration experience, Julie is regularly called on to lead cases filed throughout Texas, California, Florida, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and nationwide.

Julie’s energy practice includes serving as lead counsel to exploration and production companies, oilfield service providers, pipeline companies, oilfield product manufacturers and renewable energy companies involved in complex business litigation – on both sides of the commercial docket. She has extensive experience litigating cases involving warranty and contract claims; well failures; commodity trading, transportation, and storage; indemnity and insurance recovery claims; real estate and construction; property damage and nuisance allegations; and other business torts.

Julie’s life science practice includes serving as lead counsel to medical device and pharmaceutical companies in both complex commercial disputes and product liability claims. Julie also has extensive experience defending high-profile wrongful death suits and has served in numerous national and regional counsel roles in mass tort litigation.
