Julián Cardona

Real Estate

Julián is member of the Firm’s Real Estate, Land Use and Urban Development practice groups. He is currently the Land Use and Urban Development Director in Dentons.

For the last 14 years, Julián has advised clients who are interested in urban development and construction projects, industrial and tourism companies, several private capital funds, and individuals. He has experience developing legal strategies to promote those projects in the preparation of urban due diligence, studies of titles, and has also led the management of multiple real estate development projects in Colombia.

Julián has participated in the structuring of land use plans and has worked in partnership, both with private and public sector companies.

He graduated as a lawyer from Universidad Militar Nueva Granada in Bogotá D.C. He has a graduate degree in Public Law from the Universidad Externado also in Bogota and later went on to receive a master's degree in Urban Planning from the University of Barcelona, in Spain. He has more than ten years of experience in the area and joined Dentons in April of 2022.

For the last 10 years, Julián has given advice to prestigious clients that are interested in developing urban projects in construction, industrial and tourism companies, several private capital funds, and individuals.
