Career
Joined Cariola in 2004. Partner since 2016 of the Financial, Banking, Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions department. Universidad de Chile Law School (LLB, 2004). Columbia University (LLM, 2010). Juan Antonio has extensive experience in domestic and cross-border financing and refinancing transactions, secured and unsecured syndicated loans and project finance. He also represents issuers and underwriters in local and international debt and equity capital market transactions. Juan Antonio also advises banks and other entities of the financial industry in regulatory matters, including fintech. His practice also covers advising Chilean and international companies on mergers and acquisitions transactions, corporate restructuring and negotiation of commercial agreements.
