Francisco Javier joined our firm in 1987. Universidad de Chile Law School (LLB, 1983). New York University, USA (MCJ, 1984). Specialised courses in foreign investment at Georgetown University and negotiation at Harvard University Law School. He is the partner in charge of the Financial, Banking and Capital Markets Department, and is also responsible for the Technology, Privacy and Media areas. He has worked in the areas of finance, banking, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and telecommunications. He has provided advice for several company acquisition operations, business reorganizations, disputes between shareholders and restructuring of businesses and creditor agreements. He has also been director of several corporations. He also participates in the firm’s Arbitration and Mediation area.
