Joseph practices in complex and high value personal injury and clinical negligence claims. His areas of particular expertise include traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, complex orthopaedic injury, chronic pain disorders, fatal accidents and birth injury/asphyxia claims.

He acts for Claimants and Defendants in the full range of personal injury work including asbestos litigation. His instructions are categorised by large loss and complex medical and causation issues. Joseph regularly handles multimillion pound cases and has secured a settlement of £11 million for a brain injured client.

He covers the range of clinical negligence work including medical, surgical and dental. He represents individuals with cerebral palsy resulting from brain injury at birth.

Joseph successfully represented a defendant in a high-profile 13 day High Court trial concerning historic allegations of physical abuse of apprentices at a professional football club.
