Practice Areas
Rachael Levene has a busy employment law practice, acting for both respondents and claimants. Rachael is often instructed on complex and lengthy multi-week litigation. She has experience of a wide range of employment disputes, and particularly enjoys cases that involve discrimination and whistleblowing claims, as well as sensitive unfair dismissal cases.
Rachael prides herself on quickly building trust with those that she works with and being able to put nervous witnesses at their ease. Rachael is often complimented on her oral advocacy and responds well to the tone that each case requires. She provides sensible, down-to-earth advice that appreciates the commercial or personal sensitivity a case might encompass.
Rachael routinely represents a range of different parties, for example: government organisations; NHS Trusts and related services; local authorities; banking groups; business more generally including well-known brands; and, individual claimants and respondents, often with a high net worth.
Rachael enjoys oral and written advocacy at both tribunal and appellate level, including both the EAT and Court of Appeal. She has appeared in reported case law.
