Barrister (and former solicitor) specialising in mediations across a wide range of chancery and commercial disputes, with a particular emphasis on wills, trusts and probate disputes (including claims under Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975) and property disputes (real property and landlord and tenant). Other key practice areas include partnership disputes and professional negligence claims (primarily against solicitors)

Career

Qualified as a solicitor in 1992 and practised with Pannone & Partners until 2009, followed by a brief stint working in-house for the Trustees for Methodist Church Purposes whilst transitioning to the Bar. Called to the Bar in 2010. Became a member of 9 St John Street in Manchester in 2010 on completion of pupillage, and practised as a Barrister (chancery and commercial) and Mediator until September 2021. Since September 2021 has practised full-time as a Mediator
