José Luis Pita da Veiga Subirats is a partner in the Banking and Financial Law area of RocaJunyent in Madrid, with nearly fifteen years’ experience in this area.
Within the framework of financing, refinancing and restructuring operations, his work focuses on advising financial institutions as well as debt and venture capital funds, sponsors and issuers, covering multiple branches of practice.
He regularly participates in financing operations for acquisitions, assets, projects (in particular, projects regarding renewable energies, infrastructure and the tourism sector), real estate financing as well as all types of business financing, including debt restructuring and refinancing processes in bankruptcy and pre-bankruptcy situations. He also has extensive experience in transactions with a multi-jurisdictional scope.
Prior to joining RocaJunyent, he worked as a lawyer in the banking and financial law departments of DLA Piper and Hogan Lovells.
