JODI LOPEZ represents accounting firms and their professionals, public companies and their D&Os, private equity firms, fund managers, and investment advisers globally in high-stakes financial reporting, accounting, and disclosure matters. Her areas of focus include complex civil litigation and regulatory matters with an emphasis on shareholder suits, SEC and PCAOB investigations and enforcement actions, M&A litigation, and disputes arising out of private equity deals. She also represents companies, audit committees, and boards of directors, in connection with internal investigations and special committee investigations. She has served as a lead trial attorney in a five-week arbitration and as a trial team member representing a Big Four accountant in a two-week hearing before an SEC Administrative Law Judge.
