Partner. Expert in advising on national and international transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity.

In recent years, João Mattamouros Resende has advised on company sales in the financial, technology and private equity sectors. He also advises clients on negotiating agreements for distribution and outsourcing, and for IT services provision.

He is a member of the firm's German desk.

He is, since 2025, chairman of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in the UK.

President of REDI Portugal – the Business Network for Diversity and Inclusion, founded in 2025.
