Career

Joana Silveira Botelho joined Cuatrecasas in 2008 and heads the life sciences group in Portugal. She advises pharmaceutical companies, medical devices companies, hospitals, biotech companies, cells and tissues banks, medical cannabis companies, cosmetics and food supplements companies, especially in regulatory and compliance matters. She provides legal assistance to biotechnology projects, start-up companies, and distributors of medical devices. Also, she has been advising on clinical trials, clinical data protection issues and support under public tender are carried out jointly with the PI and public group, respectively.
