Jean Kuo's practice encompasses a broad range of fields, including M&A, antitrust, employment, FDI regulation and general corporate and commercial matters. She has more than 17 years' experience advising on cross-border, public and private M&A transactions as well as other commercial activities. She represents foreign companies, particularly Japanese companies, with their investment plans, merger, buyout, tender offer, share purchase/swap, joint venture or other commercial projects (such as government procurement projects) in Taiwan and provides counsel with respect to various regulatory issues. In addition to her experience in M&A, Jean has represented domestic and foreign companies in Taiwan antitrust investigations as well as difficult employment terminations and labor disputes. In recent years, she also represented several international power groups, including Japan power groups, for contemplated investment in/acquisition of several offshore wind power projects, solar projects as well as other renewable energy projects in Taiwan.
