Practice Areas
Jared Roach focuses on bankruptcy and commercial restructuring. After completing a one-year clerkship with Judge Gregory L. Taddonio of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, Jared returned to Reed Smith in 2015. He has developed significant experience representing a diverse range of clients, including indenture trustees, corporate debtors, secured lenders, equipment lessors, and creditors' committees.
Jared’s practice encompasses both in-court and out-of-court matters. He has represented lenders and lessors in out-of-court workouts, including those involving court-appointed receivers, and he has acted on behalf of lenders, lessors, and indenture trustees in bankruptcy restructurings and liquidations. His experience also includes representing multiple debtors as they navigate in-court restructurings under the bankruptcy code.
In addition to his restructuring work, Jared is experienced in bankruptcy court litigation and adversary proceedings, providing comprehensive counsel to clients facing complex financial challenges.
