Practice Areas
Partner. Mr. de la Torre has provided advice on securitisation transactions (CMBS, RMBS, CRE CDO and CDO transactions)), and has participated in many debt instrument issues (bonds, notes, subordinate debt, public-sector bonds, mortgage bonds and territorial bonds), derivative transactions and many issues of preferred shares and warrants. He has recently been involved in many issues of corporate and high-yield bonds.
He also has broad experience in advising private and public entities on financing transactions, both through syndicated and bilateral loans (financing corporate, leveraged and structured acquisitions). Recently, he has advised on acquiring distressed debt and non-performing loans (NPLs) through structures associated to capital markets.
Career
He lectures in postgraduate and specialization courses at different schools and universities, including ESADE Business & Law School, CUNEF University College of Financial Studies, IFAES International Faculty for Executives, ESCA, CEES Center for Economic and Social Studies, Institute of Stock Exchange Studies and Universidad CEU San Pablo.

Member of the Madrid Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in England and Wales, and has worked at the finance departments of leading Spanish and international firms.
