Mr. Hongyuan Zhang specializes in employment law, employment dispute resolution, and social security law. He handles a wide range of non-contentious and contentious matters in the field of labor and employment. Mr. Zhang provides legal advice to clients on various issues, including employment relationships, non-competition matters, trade secret protection, ESOP, trade unions, and employee personal information protection. He also has extensive experience in employment due diligence, compliance management, and employee settlement matters in major projects, such as corporate mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and relocations, as well as economic layoffs. Additionally, Mr. Zhang has significant expertise in cross-border employment compliance projects for Chinese companies expanding overseas. He is adept at coordinating, managing, and collaborating with overseas lawyers from different jurisdictions to provide Chinese enterprises with legal advice based on foreign employment laws. Mr. Zhang has also accumulated substantial experience in employment dispute resolution, representing clients in employment-related negotiations, mediations, arbitration, and litigation cases.
Mr. Zhang is one of the few lawyers in China proficient in directly providing both contentious and non-contentious legal services under Chinese employment law in English to the headquarters of multinational corporations, earning the trust of many large multinational companies.
