Career
Francesco Setti graduated with honours from the University of Milan in 1971.
He worked in the legal department of a telecommunications company until 1974, when he joined Franzosi Pesce Rubino. From 1978 he worked in the legal department of a multinational chemical-pharmaceutical group, dealing with regulatory and commercial law. For the same group, he was Country Manager in Chile from 1989 to 1993. On his return to Italy, he joined Professor Franzosi’s firm, becoming a partner in 1996. Francesco Setti’s practice focuses on pharmaceutical law, medical devices and food supplements, including corporate law transactions. He has also been involved in civil and administrative litigation and, in the pharmaceutical field, in corporate acquisitions and contractual matters.
Professional Memberships
He has been a member of Conference Bleue, a European network of law firms operating in the life sciences sector, since its creation.
He was admitted to practice in 1994 and, since 2003, he has rights of appearance before the Italian Supreme Court.

He is the author of articles in professional journals.
