Her area of practice also includes mergers and acquisitions, having, through the years, advised the major international and national companies in relevant projects in Uruguay. She has also focused on providing advice on compliance issues, including areas such as data protection as well as anti-money laundering.

Master in Corporate Law, University of Montevideo (2004-05). Also has an LLM in Corporate Law at New York University (New York, 2005-06). Has taught Financial Law at the University of Montevideo as Assistant Professor. Worked at Cleary Gotlieb Steen & Hamilton (New York, 2006-07).

She has been recognised by prestigious international publications such as Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500 for her outstanding performance in the area of financial and banking law.
