Career

Erlend Holstrøm heads Schjødt's Construction group and their China desk. He works with a wide range of business law issues and dispute resolution. His principal areas of work are related to offshore, infrastructure and building construction and professional liability cases. He regularly litigates disputes before Norwegian courts and by arbitration. Erlend was admitted to the Norwegian Supreme Court in 2022.

Erlend also holds broad international experience, inter alia from various assignments in Asia at law firms in Shanghai and Singapore, where he for a long period of time, on an ongoing basis, advised companies in the establishment phase, joint ventures, purchase/sale/restructuring of businesses, finance, trade/distribution and various construction projects.

Erlend has been a lawyer since 1995, only interrupted by a period as deputy judge in 1996/1997, and joined Schjødt in 2017. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Oslo.
