Erika Bañuelos

Erika Bañuelos is a Partner leads the firm’s tax and customs practice in Asunción.

She has several years of experience providing consulting services in tax, customs and investment matters to numerous multinational companies and business groups from different sectors. Her working experience as a consultant is mainly related to tax planning on various issues connected with national and international matters. Her previous professional experience includes participating as a litigator against the tax authorities in landmark tax refund cases.

Since 2019 she is the Paraguayan correspondent of the IBFD regarding daily tax news. She wrote the Digital Tax Monitor Chapter of Paraguay.

She teaches courses in the Corporate Legal Regime at the School of Administration of Universidad Nacional de Asunción.
