Practice Areas
Partner and Cuatrecasas ESG director and coordinator of Business and Human Rights. She specializes in corporate governance and sustainability risks, international litigation and arbitration, human rights and international politics.
She has extensive experience in (i) the identification and governance of the risk of adverse impacts on human rights and on the environment; (ii) designing and implementing systems for the prevention, management and reparation of damages—both in clients’ operations and in their supply chains and transactions—and (iii) representing clients in disputes and litigation.
Career
She was actively involved in launching several international social impact projects, including Democracia Abierta, NeedLab, Institute IFIT, Verificat, The Climate Infrastructure Partnership and The Higher Education Alliance for Refugees.
Since 1996, she has been developing her career as a lawyer in Brussels, London and Barcelona in the firm’s Litigation and Arbitration Practice. From 2014 to 2018, she was a member of the firm’s general management as deputy managing partner, working to introduce and coordinate cross-cutting strategic projects aligned with Cuatrecasas’s firm commitment to include sustainability in its business activity and strategies.
