Practice Areas
Edward Novak's problem-solving skills, combined with his years of experience, enable him to assist clients facing government investigations in many areas, including health care, banking, securities, environment, education, government contracting, and civil rights. The recognition of his legal peers, and his professionalism, give him credibility in dealing with clients' adversaries. As a result, he also represents government officials and government agencies when they themselves become subjects of investigation.
Ed assists professionals, such as physicians, and other licensed health care workers in state board investigations. He works with lawyers facing discipline investigations and disputes with judges. He also assists judges in judicial conduct investigations. As a past state bar president and adjunct ethics professor, he is well-versed in helping professionals and business leaders navigate the sometimes thorny issues in an increasingly complex world.
Ed is a U.S. Army veteran and serves on the board of a veterans' homeless shelter and a charter school focusing on the arts. He is also the Chair of the Arizona Supreme Court Committee on Character and Fitness.
