Dr. Julia Pfeil is a partner in Dentons’ Frankfurt office. She is a member of the Public Policy and Regulatory practice, and focuses on administrative compliance, in particular on export controls, sanctions and embargos as well as on environmental and technical requirements for industry and products.
Julia has extensive experience advising on EU and US sanctions imposed on Iran and Russia. She also assists clients with the development and implementation of compliance programs and during internal or external audits by authorities.
In addition, Julia advises clients on questions under environmental laws, including on compliance with environmental and technical requirements for products, such as the EU WEEE, RoHS and REACH/ CLP programs.
