Don Tucker is a trial lawyer with over 35 years of complex commercial litigation experience, including significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, multi-party cases, class actions, claims under the federal securities laws, shareholder and partnership disputes and contract disputes of many types. He has represented a wide variety of corporations and their directors and officers, including large public utilities, pharmaceutical and other life sciences companies; financial institutions and insurance companies; issuers of securities; corporate trustees; and buyers and sellers of both businesses and of goods and services. Don appears frequently in the North Carolina Business Court and in the North Carolina federal courts where many of the above cases are litigated. He is a persuasive court room lawyer and advocate, but also is adept at alternative dispute resolution and helping his clients find creative and cost-effective solutions at earlier stages of a dispute, including before litigation is filed.
