Daff is a partner in the employment team based in the Oxford office. She handles the full range of employment law advice, focusing on advising employers and senior executives on boardroom disputes, executive appointments and terminations. Her clients have included senior figures in publishing, life sciences, IT, academia and medicine.

She also gives strategic advice to employers on business re-organisations and restructuring. She has extensive experience of advising on transfers of undertakings (TUPE), both in relation to business sales and outsourcing.

She also co-leads the firm’s multi-disciplinary education sector group, advising institutions on student complaints, governance and discipline matters, as well as employment, particularly in relation to academic staff.

Clients have praised Daff for her for 'knowledgeable and very pragmatic approach' saying that she 'tends to look at things very sensibly and comes back with a pragmatic response' and is 'personable and easily builds relationships with whoever she's dealing with'.

Career

Daff trained at a prestigious Oxford firm in 1987, becoming a partner in 1995. She then joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in 1997.
