Career
Following a period of pre-qualification experience at a Defendant firm, Lyndsey Skibinski joined Penningtons Manches Cooper as a trainee in 2016 and qualified into the London team in September 2017. She was promoted to Senior Associate in September 2024.

Lyndsey holds specialist clinical negligence accreditation with the Law Society.

Personal
Lyndsey is noted for her exceptional client care and eye for detail. She is incredibly committed and takes care to get to know clients personally to build rapport and trust. She is praised for making clients feel at ease, particularly when discussing distressing and sensitive issues. She has an inquisitive nature which stands her in good stead when challenging expert evidence and advocating on her client's behalf.
Lyndsey is actively involved in the firm’s socio-economic committee and has a particular passion for supporting and mentoring individuals of under-privileged and low socioeconomic backgrounds to encourage social mobility.
Lyndsey also proactively engages in business development and innovation projects across the team and enjoys identifying and building new business opportunities for the team.
Outside of work, Lyndsey has two young children and an energetic Hungarian Vizsla. She enjoys baking with her daughter and going on family walks. Lyndsey continues to follow artistic gymnastics closely having competed at a national level as a teenager.
Clients
Lyndsey is regularly instructed to act on behalf of police officers who are Police Federation members as well as their families. Lyndsey has also recently commenced working with the British Transport Police in a similar capacity.
Industry Sector Expertise
Lyndsey has grown a particular interest in spinal, complex orthopaedic and adult-acquired brain injury claims. She has extensive litigation experience, handling multiple, complex litigated cases.
Lyndsey's thorough early investigation of claims supports her to achieve early admissions of liability in many of her claims as well early interim payments of damages where possible.
Lyndsey is based in the London office, but advises clients nationwide. She regularly acts for police officers represented by the Police Federation, advising on complex claims for loss of earnings and police pensions.
