Prior to joining Lee & Ko in 2021, Dajoo Jung sat as a Judge or Presiding Judge in the Korean Judiciary for 16 years. During his term on the bench, he has presided over numerous cases at the Seoul Central District Court, Suwon District Court, Uijeongbu District Court, Busan District Court, and Ulsan District Court. Besides having litigation experience, Mr. Jung gained extensive experience and perspective in the judicial administration of a wide variety of high-profiled cases, parliamentary related affairs, and international affairs while working as the Director of Planning and Coordination at the National Court Administration, Supreme Court of Korea.
He has deep understanding of and great expertise in cases such as corporate-criminal cases, construction real-estate cases, bank, securities and finance related litigation, administrative related litigation, and family inheritance law cases.

Work Highlights
Recently, in particular, Mr. Jung achieved full acquittals in the cases involving violations of the Specific Economic Crimes Act (embezzlement) by the heads of major food-related corporations. He also obtained excellent results in numerous criminal lawsuits, including cases of stock price manipulation during management disputes and manipulation of cryptocurrency prices.
Additionally, he successfully handled various large civil lawsuits against companies, including injunctions related to management disputes and shareholder class actions following embezzlement and accounting fraud, as well as consumer class actions.
