Cristian Divan Baldani is a partner of the Labor practice in Rio de Janeiro. He has more than ten years of experience in litigation and labor liability management, assisting on individual and collective labor claims, as well as investigative procedures, inspections, civil inquiries and public civil actions before the Labor Prosecution Office and the Ministry of Labor and Employment.
Cristian has also advised clients on labor issues related to corporate transactions, employee expatriation from Brazil to a foreign country and vice versa, union negotiations, structuring of variable compensation plans (Profit sharing, Stock Options, RSUs) and compliance investigations in sectors such as oil and gas, construction, services and pension funds.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and a LL.M. earned in 2014 from the University of California, Berkeley, United States. After then, he worked for one year as an international law clerk at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner in the International Trade practice.
