Chaz Weber represents regional and national banks, private capital providers, and real estate funds in complex real estate financing and development transactions. He has substantial experience representing agents, lenders, and borrowers in documenting credit facilities in favor of developers, owners, real estate management and investment firms, REITs, and private equity real estate funds. He regularly serves as lead agent counsel on complex syndicated credit facilities with a variety of collateral structures, including subscription-secured credit facilities, traditional mortgage-secured single-asset financings, and REIT or private equity real estate fund credit facilities secured by an underlying pool of mortgaged or unencumbered real property. Chaz prides himself on being a trusted advisor to clients and a cooperative voice to resolve issues and move deals across the finish line.

• Represented a national bank and administrative agent on a revolving credit facility with a maximum amount of $500 million, secured by retail assets in more than a dozen states
• Represented a national bank as the lender on an $85 million term and revolving credit facility to a national owner and operator of multifamily properties
• Represented TriState Capital Bank as the sole lender on a $10,250,000 credit facility for the refinancing of the Tyler Village complex in Cleveland, Ohio
• Advised Ohio’s premier Level 1 medical marijuana cultivator and processor on the multimillion-dollar mortgage financing of its flagship production facility
• Represented a strategic purchaser in the acquisition, development, construction, and financing of a veteran outpatient clinic for $14.6 million
• Guided client KeyBank Real Estate Capital on the documentation and closing of a $60-million senior secured revolving credit facility; secured by mortgages on 11 separate veterinary offices and related facilities across nine different states, the facility includes an accordion feature permitting expansion of the revolver to a maximum credit facility of $150 million
• Represented KeyBank Real Estate Capital on the documentation and closing of a $25-million senior mortgage secured revolving credit facility secured by self-storage and manufactured home properties in Texas, Wyoming, and North Dakota, and including an accordion feature permitting expansion of the facility up to $40 million
• Advised KeyBank Real Estate Capital on the documentation and closing of a $95-million senior mortgage secured revolving credit facility, initially secured by five office properties located in Texas and including an accordion feature permitting expansion of the facility up to $150 million
• Represented a real estate fund in the acquisition and financing of multiple retail shopping centers in the southern and southwest United States
• Represented The Ohio State University with respect to its 50-year Parking Concession Agreement
