Brandon M. Hammer’s practice focuses on a broad range of financial regulatory, market infrastructure, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, digital asset, and netting issues.

His clients include financial institutions, clearinghouses, asset managers, hedge funds, FinTech firms, sovereigns, and end users. He is frequently counsel to leading financial market trade associations and ad hoc coalitions on major industry initiatives and industry-standard opinions.

Clients regularly turn to Brandon to help them address many of their highest stakes issues, including fundamental market changes and financial distress scenarios. Brandon is a go-to counselor on complex issues that span multiple practice areas and disciplines. His areas of expertise include close-out netting rights under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, the Securities Investor Protection Act, and a variety of other insolvency regimes; derivatives and securities regulatory matters; the Uniform Commercial Code; and the application of regulatory, commercial law, and bankruptcy rules to digital assets.
