Bernardo is a highly respected lawyer with extensive experience in commercial, regulatory, and financial matters across the life sciences and infrastructure industries.

In the infrastructure industry, Bernardo advises financial institutions and developers on the construction and financing of projects, such as highways, railways, aqueducts, water treatment plants, desalinization plants, government facilities and other major projects, through services and construction contracts, concessions and public-private partnerships.

In the life sciences industry, Bernardo advises pharmaceutical companies in M&A transactions and on regulatory matters related to marketing authorizations, divesture of assets, vaccination projects, public procurement, manufacturing, supply and distribution of medicines, commercializing medicines and human clinical trials, as well as the construction and operation of pharmaceutical facilities.

He has a Law Degree from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México and was a foreign associate at Shearman & Sterling in New York.
