Arturo's practice combines sophisticated banking, financial law, including transactional and regulatory work, and M&A with an emphasis on financial services. The latter has allowed him to strengthen different specialization areas at Galicia.
His client base includes a wide range of financial institutions, investment funds, institutional investors and other players, regulated or unregulated, in the financial services sector, which he advises in special projects and day-to-day operations.
Apart from working at the Firm, Arturo has lectured for many years and currently teaches the mergers and acquisitions postgraduate course at Escuela Libre de Derecho. Likewise, he is regularly involved in Pro Bono matters supporting civil organizations in Mexico.
Arturo has been a partner of the Firm since 2002. He obtained his JD from Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico City and holds a Master’s Degree in Law from Northwestern University’s School of Law.
Before joining the Firm, he worked as a foreign associate in Mayer Brown’s New York office.
