Career

Florent joined Galicia in 2016 as an associate and was promoted to partner in 2024. His work is specialized in mergers and acquisitions and corporate matters. He is also very active in the mining industry, advising clients on M&A transactions, financings and regulatory aspects in their operations.

He has actively participated in important international M&A transactions with national and international clients. He has advised different companies and entrepreneurs, including French companies, in connection with the set-up of their business in Mexico as well as their day-to-day compliance with corporate obligations in Mexico.

His prior experience includes three years at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton’s Parisienne office as an associate specialized in M&A and Capital Markets matters. He is admitted to practice law in Mexico, Paris and New York.

Florent received his Law Degree from Université Paris 12. He has a Master’s Degree in Corporate Law from Université Paris Dauphine and a Master’s Degree in Corporate Law from New York University School of Law.
