Benjamin Hantz

He represents private equity funds, independent sponsors, family offices, mezzanine finance funds and institutional co-investors, public and privately held companies and executives in a wide variety of transactional matters, including platform and add-on acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, control, minority, growth and structured equity investments, divestitures, joint ventures, recapitalizations, commercial transactions, executive employment agreements and corporate governance matters.

His experience extends across multiple industries, including healthcare, technology, energy and infrastructure, finance, food and beverage, laboratory testing, distribution and manufacturing, consumer products and records and data management.

Ben has served as a panel moderator at McGuireWoods’ international Independent Sponsor Conference. He provides pro bono representation to small-business owners, assisting them on LLC formations and also represents pro bono clients in M&A and general corporate/commercial matters.

In 2022, Hantz received an Emerging Leaders Award from The M&A Advisor in recognition of his achievements in mergers and acquisitions, turnarounds and financings.
