Major practice in very high value clinical negligence, personal injury, inquests and associated public law and human rights challenges. Leading expert in criminal injuries compensation. Extensive experience in military claims. Recent notable cases (over 50 reported) include: Gilham [2019] ICR 1655 (SC) (employment status of judges); Adiatu [2020] IRLR 658 (furlough scheme); DSD [2019] QB 285 (Worboys release); Bamieh [2019] IRLR 736 (CA) (international whistleblowing); numerous claims arising from injuries of utmost severity.
