Anthony W Morris

Anthony Morris focuses his practice on business litigation. He represents some of the world’s largest companies, with an emphasis on multi-national insurance companies, in complex litigation matters including market cases and class actions. Anthony litigates large dollar coverage claims with insureds and handles all types of coverage disputes, with a particular focus on those alleging high-exposure insurance bad faith. He has particular experience in the substantive law regarding first-party property loss and business interruption claims. He also has experience rendering coverage opinions as national coverage counsel, representing clients in alternative dispute resolution, and monitoring and evaluating complex claims. Anthony also regularly provides advice to insurance companies regarding product development and has drafted numerous policy forms for various lines of coverage. He regularly appears before state and federal courts throughout the country in a wide-range of civil litigation matters and in confidential and non-litigated matters involving high stakes insurance issues, and has served as appellate counsel in numerous matters. Anthony also defends corporate directors and officers and licensed professionals in negligence, malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty, and/or securities fraud claims.
