Ann has more than two decades of experience in the insurance recovery field. She counsels clients on insurance policy terms and renewals, and claim presentation, management, and negotiation. Ann also advises corporations concerning insurance issues that arise in connection with mergers and acquisitions. Ann’s practice particularly focuses on directors and officers, product liability, product recall and contamination claims and policies, as well as toxic tort and environmental claims.
Ann is adept in the settlement of complex insurance disputes, with a special focus on the pharmaceutical industry. Ann has represented clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. She also counsels clients in connection with the operation of coverage-in-place agreements. She also was one of the first developers of computerized insurance allocation models for long-tail claims. These models have been used in product liability, environmental remediation, and toxic tort claims.
