Career
Andy Kever has been recognized as a leading advocate and counselor for the electric and communication industries. For over 40 years, he has represented a variety of competitive and regulated electric and telecommunication interests, including large regulated electric utilities. Andy is routinely recognized by his peers for his expertise in administrative and regulatory law. He has been board certified in Administrative Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since that specialization was first recognized. Before helping found ENOCH KEVER, Andy was a shareholder in two other regional law firms, serving as managing partner of one and as head of the public law and alternative energy practices of the other. He served five years as senior vice president, general counsel, and secretary of a facilities-based broadband communications corporation. Before entering private practice in Austin, Andy held senior positions in the Office of the Governor of Texas and the Office of the Attorney General of Texas after serving as counsel to a member of the Texas Senate.
