Anca Jurcovan is a recognized competition practitioner who has acquired extensive experience over the last 18 years by assisting clients in landmark investigations conducted by the Romanian Competition Council. She has successfully represented clients in competition litigation phases and has achieved some of the major fine annulment judgements of the last years. Anca has developed a strong practice offering day-to-day legal and compliance advice in the telecom, retail, energy, financial and life sciences sectors, through her deep understanding of the business and creatively adapting legal advice to doing business. Additionally, she has represented clients with respect to complex and innovative contract structures, ensuring the interplay of competition and regulatory advice.
Anca is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association.
Anca holds a Romanian law degree from Bucharest University Law School, an Advanced diploma of Competition Law and an Advanced Diploma of Economics for Competition Law from King’s College London.
