Alessandro specializes in Tax, Customs, and Social Security Law with over 25 years of experience and is recognized for his expertise in national and international tax matters. He actively participates in managing cases before the Administrative Tax Appeals Board (CARF), State Taxpayer Councils, and within the scope of Regional Federal Courts, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Supreme Federal Court. He also works as a Professor of Tax and Social Security Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (PUC-MG), the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), and the Center for Studies in Law and Business (CEDIN).

He has published articles and legal opinions in specialized magazines. Alessandro is author of the books "O Dever Fundamental de Recolher Tributos no Estado Democrático de Direito", “Estudos de Custeio Previdenciário” and "Novos Estudos de Custeio Previdenciário" e "Processo Legislativo Tributário Federal e bloqueios à concretização do projeto constitucional.
