Adrian Leipsic’s practice focuses on the structuring, formation and operation of private investment funds.

He has represented sponsors across a broad range of alternative asset classes, including private equity, credit, real estate, infrastructure, secondaries, fund of funds, and digital assets. Adrian’s career has included a significant focus on establishing funds with inventive and unconventional structures, including evergreen and “permanent capital” vehicles across the liquidity spectrum – such as private and public business development companies, long-dated funds, hybrid funds, and other vehicles with novel and complex features. He also advises fund sponsors in connection with negotiating “seed” investments, joint ventures and other internal arrangements.

Adrian is a frequent speaker on private funds matters at industry roundtables and conferences and regularly contributes to in thought leadership in the space.

Adrian’s representative funds clients include Brookfield Asset Management, Blackstone, Sixth Street and TPG.

Career

Adrian joined the firm in 2006 and became a partner in 2015.
