Zain also acts as a trusted advisor to startups and growth-stage companies throughout their lifecycle, from formation and governance to strategic partnerships, commercial arrangements, and exit events. He is known for his multidisciplinary expertise in areas critical to technology businesses, including privacy, cybersecurity, payments, blockchain, and financial regulatory compliance.
Zain was formerly an adjunct professor in the University of Toronto's Global Professional Master of Laws program in Innovation, Law and Technology, and is a frequent writer and speaker on topics shaping the financial services industry, including artificial intelligence, digital assets, and other transformative technologies.
