Steven Cutler

A partner in the Capital Markets and Securities practice, Steven advises clients on a variety of complex cross-border capital markets and corporate transactions, including initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and shareholder and governance arrangements. His clients span a range of sizes and industries, including mining, technology, life sciences and financial services. In 2024, Steven was appointed member chair of the Ontario Securities Commission’s Security Advisory Committee, which provides advice to the OSC on a variety of matters, including legislative and policy initiatives and important capital market trends. He is also a member of Davies’ Toronto Student Committee and regularly co-authors thought leadership pieces for the firm, which take an analytic look at recent legislation and changes in the legal landscape.
